Dah masuk dlm bas, Mr Tung sambung lagi cerita pasal kampung dia kat Cu Chi..and some stories of his family..along the way, the bus stopped for a while kat some random place coz Mr Tung nak beli snacks since dia dah lapar..He bought some fried bananas bersalut tepung pulut..nampak besar2 jugak for each piece..sama je mcm pisang goreng, tapi this one was a bit nipis..quite greasy tapi sedap..Mr Tung beli byk then he sold them to the people inside our bus..VND10,000 for 2 pieces..sringgit lebih je tu..so, eisha n i bought and have one piece each..gambar x amik pulak sebab syok sgt bila layan makan..then Mr Tung mintak VND80,000 each for Cu Chi tunnel entrance fee..
before sampai Cu Chi, lalu kat kawasan kampung..rumah2 kat sini besar2 n nampak la rumah2 lot yg x akan kelihatan kat tgh2 bandar HCM..kubur2 pun bersepah2 kat kawasan rumah, estate or sawah..aku xtau la pulak pasal significance kubur2 diletak kat kawasan2 camtu..kalau sesiapa tau, habaq mai la ye..
dah sampai Cu Chi tunnel, kitorg diberi 5 mins utk p toilet near the entrance..no worry, toilet kat sini bersih n ade air utk mencuci..so, xde la rasa kurang selesa kalau nak membuang..lepas Mr Tung membayar entrance fees, kitorg pun jalan la masuk...

we were first brought to a class to listen and watch a video of Cu Chi tunnel's history..x brapa faham sgt penerangan video..mula2 dengar byk gila sebutan "Cu Chi", then yg aku faham cuma crita pasal budak perempuan yg kematian parents sbab perang..she decided to join in the war by fighting against the American soldiers..siap pakai senapang bagai..mmg brani la budak tu..lepas habis video, Mr Tung bagi lecture pasal how the tunnel used to work..org vietnam nak survive the bombs and american soldiers, so they decided to dig a tunnel by hand..sgt menakjubkan coz they can live n survive bawah tanah..siang2 hari diorg akan dok bwh tanah n akan keluar mlm2 je utk bercucuk tanam, pasang traps, n cari makanan..dlm tunnel tu pun ada mcm2 traps so sesiapa yg x biasa dlm tunnel tu (eg:musuh2) akan mati terkena traps..memasak n makan pun dlm tunnel..ade filtering system yg akan filter asap tu so that asap akan keluar sikit2..jadi, x obvious sgt..even though the entrance was camouflaged, last2 the US soldiers discovered jugak..x ramai US soldiers yg survived in the tunnels..but they kept sending people to search in the tunnel..last2 diorg hantar bombs dari udara yg menimbulkan kesan2 lubang2 besar..n i guess maybe some parts of the tunnel collapsed as well..kejam sungguh mereka..pelbagai lagi crita kejam yg akan muncul later...

lepas habis lecture, we were showed around the place..there're lots of shapes of the tunnel entrances or storage place..first, jumpa a very small entrance that fits only one person..got a cover to camouflage the entrance..kat sini kitorg stop kejap utk amik gambar..one by one masuk and amik gamba..org lain masuk amik skali snap, kitorg ni siap berposing2 macam model pulak..haha..lepas masuk tu, make sure your hands are strong enough nak tolak badan naik..lubang tu agak dalam..aku pun masuk dah tengelam paras dada..ade jugak entrance yg diorg buat mcm fox hole n macam2 lagi (tgk je la gambar2 tu)..

Stopped kejap kat shooting range..Kalau berminat nak merasa pegang senapang, boleh la join in..bukan setakat pegang, menembak sekali..time sampai sini, aku rasa macam nak pekak je telinga ni..the sound of shooting rifles was so loud..before sampai sini ada keinginan nak try..but after hearing those sounds, x jadi..punya la penakut..maybe i need to try shooting guns first before trying rifles..takuut..sureen n nadirah took the challenge of 10 bullets each..yg ini not included in the tour fees..kena byr sendiri VND35,000 per bullet..there're various kind of rifles you could choose from..M16, machine gun M60, etc..mmg best (but I was too chickened out..hehehe)

we were also shown some booby traps made by vietnamese troops to prevent their enemies from discovering the tunnel, the military workshop, and lastly we had the chance to enter the tunnel..there are several exits, and I made myself out on the first exit..x larat pulak nk membongkok along the way..tgk mcm kena crawl je kalau aku teruskan..sesiapa yg berbadan kecil n x brapa tinggi sgt, should be okay; can squat along the way..it would be easier too kalau x bwk bag or kamera gabak..dlm tu mmg gelap..jaga2 sikit la jgn pakai lalu je, silap2 terhantuk kepala tu..and it's advisable that you follow the person in front..nnt kalau kena tinggal sorg2 menakutkan kot..

Before leaving, we were served tapioca cicah kacang n tea yg sgt wangi n sedap..tapioca was the staple food for vietnamese during the war..sama mcm kat malaysia masa zaman perang dulu..sedap jugak bila cicah kacang ni..sambil2 makan tu, Mr Tung nyanyi old folk songs..layaaann
